:: EDIT [8 November 2005] ::
I've made a few modifications to the image so it would, to me at least, work better. I've gotten rid of the huge black bars at the top and bottom and rewoked the fade of the flag just a hint so there isn't that odd red line up his nose.
ALSO, yes I've moved my account to =naptha! So if you favourite, comment, or otherwise cause notice to this piece and get a reply from =naptha, it's ME!
I hope you all like the changes. :)

UPDATE AS OF AUGUST 10, 2004
I'm putting this up here instead of down below... because hopefully someone will see it.
This is not Bush bashing. This is not ill informed art either.
President Bush is a weak president in my opinion. I say this, and yet I am not insulting him personally, please follow my example. I don't appreciate people calling him an idiot, moron, fool, etc. in reguard or response to my art. His actions in some lights may be considered foolish, but that does not make him a fool.
I don't like/agree with the Bush Administrations environmental POLICIES, not laws... policies. There is a difference. Yes, I understand that the president does not make laws. However, he signs them into law and can, though it shouldn't be, in some ways influence them.
I completely disagree with how he handled the Iraq "issue." Especailly since it is my belief, and an easily supportable one at that, that he helped to create and inflate the "issue." I think that he should have kept true to the UN. What use is it to have the UN if we aren't willing to use it? The security council voided the bill... and guess what? They were right people. There were no WMDs in Iraq. If there were, they were well into Saudia Arabia or another neighboring country by the time of the ORIGIONAL void. Bush was wrong. Yes, that's what I said... Bush (in essence, the United States) was WRONG!
Just like Bush and his environmental policies are wrong again.
This is not ment to protest the laws made... but the policies behind the laws. My signature is what I use to protest the laws. And believe me, it's been used quite a number of times.
END OF AUGUST 10th UPDATE
This is something I've been thinking about doing for a long while now, and I finally got around to doing it.
No... I'm not voting for Bush.
--
The Bush administration has upheld one of the worst environmental policies seen in the United States in a near century. While this image is directly involving the administrations policy on wolves, it is not just for them so to speak. With this I am protesting, in lagre, the entirety of the administrations environmental policy regarding wildlife and further development, and the OIL policy. With the onset of movements pushing harder to get wolves off the protected species list, along with other "threatened" species, there must be some awareness of these issues before it is too late.
I will admit, however, that under the Bush Administration the EPA has made some advancements, such as stricter emissions standards to be met without extention by 2010. These acheivements are small on their own, but will make a difference together, and I highly doubt that Bush was on the shouting line to get these passed either.

Get him out of office. Please.

UPDATE as of 22.07.04 @ 10:21pm EST
I changed the picture. I changed the way the fade goes. If you don't like it I'm sorry, but the first draft looked, to me at least, very amature and I didn't like it. If you must have the origional I may possibly be persuaded to upload it seperately as a SCRAP.
But then again, I am amature... so I don't know why it bothered me so.

Did some minor retouching this afternoon... Not much, but I was bored.

"We have doomed the Wolf not for what it is, but for what we have deliberately and mistakenly perceived it to be.. the mythologized epitome of a savage, ruthless killer.. which is in reality no more than a reflexed image of ourself."

NOTE: I'm NOT bashing americans...

But I don't think their government would allow that Eris... Though, I think they should.
Thanks for the kind words.

I'd love someone to come destroy his habitat, then hunt down his friends and family, letting him see them die before shooting him in the guts and leaving him to die slowly over a few days. That is, after all, the actions he sanctions against Wolves and other wildlife.....
